As I glanced out my window this morning, I realized that today is the first day this fall that the leaves began to fall. The temperatures have been rather mild of late, definitely cooler, and the days are getting shorter, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. And of course some of the leaves are changing colors, with the treetops frosted in wonderful shades of gold, red and orange. As you might guess, autumn is my favorite season, and I celebrate it any way I can. Today I browsed through leaf-themed, handmade items on Etsy, marking the ones that seemed best to signify “the day the leaves fell.”

If you click on the image below, you’ll be taken directly to the treasury I curated on Etsy. From there, you can visit each shop and look at each image in detail. Enjoy!

Very nice fall collection, Judy! I especially like that leaf garland, and the small crocheted maple leaves 🙂

  2. Oh, man, what a cool treasury! I absolutely love fall leaves, but I’m probably going to have to wait for next year to see any.
