The last few weeks have been extraordinarily busy as my husband and I were involved with preparations for Iowa’s Destination ImagiNation® state tournament, as well as communications with Iowa’s Global Finals-bound teams who will be competing May 23-26, 2012 against teams from across the U.S. and around the world at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. We will be there, too, as Appraisers, evaluating almost 1,200 teams’ creative problem-solving solutions. Because of this busyness, I have not had a chance to thank the many curators who showcased my handmade items in their Etsy Treasuries. The Etsy marketplace is so large that visibility can often be an issue, thus I am really grateful for the added visibility that Treasuries bring.

Although there were more than 16 Treasuries in which my items were featured recently, I have decided that this week I will highlight 16 curators’ items through a Treasury that was a delight to create. When I have 16 more curators to highlight, I will create another Treasury. Please feel free to click on any of the photos in this collection, and thank you once more to the individuals who included me in their Treasuries.

Thanks also to the following Etsy buyers who included my items in their Treasuries. Because these folks do not sell handmade items, I am including their Treasuries instead.

Åsa-Katrin Erlandsson from Sweden included two of my felted wool Rebecca Bags in her Treasury titled “Rebecca” that honors her friend, Rebecka.

Sarah Wilson King, who joined Etsy this past December, included one of my crocheted spa cloth sets in her Treasury called “Cocoa & Blue.”

Yes, I know I sound like a broken record, repeating itself, when I tell folks that the weather has been great! This weekend we enjoyed temperatures in the mid-80s, and today it has been around 70 degrees. Who can complain? The Treasuries on Etsy continue to express appreciation for spring weather, and optimism in general. Thank you to this week’s group of curators who all included items from my shops in their Treasuries. The photos below show items from the curators’ shops, as well as their Treasuries. Feel free to click away!

Sharla of  Beaded Tail included my Her Highness Flower Brooch in her Treasury titled “The Colors of Spring… and a Bunny or Two!” Aren’t her Butterfly and Picasso Jasper Beaded Sterling Silver Earrings fun and flirty?

Michele of Glass Bead Treasures included my set of yellow, blue and white crocheted spa cloths in her Treasury called “Mustard and Blueberries.” All of her handmade items are the result of her “combined enjoyment of needlework, ‘little” things,’ sea glass, stained glass windows, flowers, and sparkling jewelry.” Her hand-stitched beaded cupcake pendant is adorable!

Dyanna of My Paw Portrait included my Envelope Pocket Album for Photos in her Treasury named “The Crafty Mom.”  Dyanna specializes in painting pet portraits, some of which are whimsical, and others that are realistic. Aren’t the dog’s eyes (one grey, one brown) in this greeting card beautiful? The greeting card is based on an original painting.

Chris of The Rare Bird also included my Envelope Pocket Album for Photos in her Treasury titled “Tangerine Lemon Lime Fizz.” Chris offers vintage clothing, accessories and other treasures in her Etsy shop. This early 1900s copper teapot, creamer and sugar pot caught my attention.

This last week Old Man Winter couldn’t decide whether winter or spring was ahead, with freezing temperatures one day and a thaw the next. Treasury curators on Etsy, however, tended to flip-flip a whole lot less, looking ahead to warmer temperatures and brighter skies with their cheerful, bright Treasuries. Thank you, all! I hope you visit their Treasuries and shops by clicking on the images below.

Kym of Fabric Fascination included my Crochet Fingerless Gloves in Purple in her Treasury titled “Amethyst.” Her Etsy shop includes fabric cuts of designer fabrics that I can tell you from personal experience are real beauties of top quality. The batik blues bundle below would make up some lovely paper-pieced coasters.

Margaret of Splendid Little Stars included my Felted Aqua Bowl in her Valentine-themed Treasury titled “Sweet Love.” Her soft hand dyed and painted wash cloths are the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day (today!).

HudaPehta from Slovenia, an Etsy buyer,  included my Crochet Fingerless Gloves in Ruby Red in her Treasury called “Ruby Red and White.”

Edi of Memories for Life Scrapbooks included my Crochet Scarflette and Hat in Heathered Plum in her Treasury named “Amazing Amethyst.” Her laser-engraved wood products create lasting memories. I love the idea of engraving a couple’s initials into the tree trunk on this journal.

Erica of Sands Curiosities included my Rebecca Bag in Denim Blue in her Treasury called “Denim and Wool.” Her shop includes an eclectic mix of vintage items and digital art. These beautiful seashells definitely make me think of summer!

Regina of Queen & eye (love that name!) included my Envelope Pocket Album for Photos in her Treasury named “20 days till spring.” She specializes in post modern resin jewelry such as the abstract design earrings shown below.

Katie of Wee Green Press also included my Envelope Pocket Album for Photos in her Treasury titled “Rustic Browns, Rustic Oranges . . .” She predominantly makes leather-bound journals, but it was this unique leather-bound journal necklace that caught my eye.

Rose of randomcreative included my Mini Brag Book with Snowflakes in her Treasury called “Brighten Up Your February with Turquoise and Red!”—a combination that really appeals to me. Rose designs beaded and button jewelry. I especially like her bracelets, such as this combination beaded wrap bracelet and necklace with a removable charm. Really versatile design!
